The physical access control is the earliest application of positive biometric authentication, requiring no key nor password for acessing a restricted area. In particular, fingerprint is the preferred method for its device size and installation cost.

Technoimagia offers both standalone and server-based gate control systems. Technoimagia is also developing a door control system using our RFID card, FP-OwnCard. Our fingerprint matching system can record the entrance activity ("who entered when?) in a log book. This traceability is an additional feature of our biometric access control. You cannot deny your activity.

We can also fit our modules into a small apparatus including a safe, a gun cabinet, a time recorder,and a cash register.

FP-SecureGate is a server-based control system consisting of FP-Sation, one or more FP-Keys, and fingerprint enrollment unit FP-50LSC or FP-200LSC. It is operated by our fingerprint matching engine FAST21.

Optional function records an access log to show the person's activity and time of entrance. FP-Key is ideal to a medicine storage area of a hospital, a hazardous material depot, a time recorder, and other places where you need to trace the traffic.

FP-MagnaLock is a magnetic locking system controlled by fingerprint authentication system such as FP-Key. It can be integrated with FP-Securegate to controll multiple places.

	・ No mechanical parts for long-life operation. ・ The lock mechanism is housed inside a door it will not be broken unless the door is physically broken. ･ The effective magnetic field is limited to the proximity (within 10 cm) of FP-MagnaLock --- No adverse effect to magnetic recording media, pacemakers, and other magnetic field sensitive devices.
